Help HOUSING 180 Provide Affordable Housing to Hardworking Families in Denver

Families who have experienced homelessness and are preparing to take the giant leap from supported, transitional housing to independent living are extremely vulnerable, thanks to high housing costs and stagnant wages. A minimum wage worker would need to work 107 hours per week just to qualify for a 2-bedroom apartment in Arapahoe county.[1]

YOU CAN GIVE FAMILIES IN NEED A HAND UP

Our program is simple. Groups of compassionate people, like RE/MAX Professionals, come together to House-A-Family. They agree to donate annually in total between $5,000 and $8,000—the amount it costs HOUSING 180 to pay a portion of their rent for one year. For example, if a group of 8 to 10 people agree to each individually donate $52 per month for 24 months, we can house a family for the duration of our two-year program.
